Janssen designs optimal and efficient solutions for the entire transport process chain on behalf of customers, with a focus on KEP (courier express parcel). Communication with contact persons in the individual departments and close cooperation with customers and service providers are important components for the implementation and guarantee of a smooth process.

What are you going to do?

• Design of new solutions and further development of existing applications in C# within our in-house developed Transport Management software (cloud-based solution in MS Azure) 
• Creation of automated component and integration tests
• Analysis and optimization of existing developments
• Engagement in weekly and monthly project management meetings for planning the upcoming development sprints

What do we ask?

• You have a degree in Computer Science/Computational Engineering Science/Electrical Engineering or similar
• You have strong experience in development in C# and knowledge in .NET Core framework (EF Core, ASP.NET Core) and SQL 
• You are familiar with cloud-based infrastructure especially with MS Azure (Kubernetes, Docker, Functions, Servicebus, Queues, Terraform)
• MS SQL Server knowledge and programming skills with PHP are a plus
• You have a good understanding of the logistics or transportation sector 
• A high level of commitment, initiative, creativity, and teamwork
• Language skills: English fluent, Dutch and/or German is a plus

The team

• You will be working in autonomous teams that have the freedom to drive innovation themselves. We are expanding our team to drive software within the company to the next level. 
• The international team is currently located in Venlo (NL), Bielefeld and Hamburg (DE). The position can also be fulfilled from abroad (at a distance).
